This calls for a true celebration! I was thinking about how many times I have subjected myself to this Hell and this was my 8th January. I can not believe it! To be specific, I can't believe that I am still somewhat sane and I have family and friends that still speak to me. Kurt is amazing. He has been part of this adventure since the beginning. The first January we were dating. The second. . . newly married and on and on it goes. Although, January nearly kills me off every year it always seems like a good time for me to really analyze what makes me tick. I truly hate January (I think it has gotten worse each year) but in some messed up way I get a thrill from the pressure and stress that come with the month. I know I have proven myself for the last seven years but this is just another chance for me to prove (to myself and no one else) that I can do this. I thrive in this type of environment. I make crazy, almost unrealistic goals and then I kill myself to meet them. My goals are almost always the same . . . have everything out on time (making for some long days and all weekends), no errors, and to be happy with what I have achieved. I love the kick butt feeling I get at the end of the month, when it is over and I have survived. I am truly a sick sick person!

I hate January too. It is too long, cold and boring. At least February for us is short with lots of fun birthdays, March is Easter and starting to get warmer, April means flowers are starting to come. I am glad you to survived.
If only I had that much drive when it comes to work. (We both know there is no way I would survive even half of one of your Januarys) I wish I was there so we could go out and celebrate. Since I'm not you need to mix up some Strawberry dacaries, put on some good loud music, and jump up on that table and do some dancing. (You know you want to.) :)
